Shankar Mahadevan, Co-Founder

Shankar is a world-famous singer and composer of Indian music. He has been a leader in the Indian music industry for the last 12 years. He is winner of 3 National Film Awards and numerous other awards. He has collaborated with John McLaughlin and Zakir Hussain in the fusion band Shakti, and has sung for A.R. Rahman, famed Oscar and Grammy winner. Shankar has an immense fan following, both in and outside of India.
Shankar is a co-founder of the world-renowned Shankar Mahadevan Academy that has students from 88 countries around the world. Shankar has a Bachelors in Computer Engineering from Bombay University.

Sridhar Ranganathan, Director, CoFounder

Sridhar has 32 years of experience in the High-Tech industry. An entrepreneur who thrives on using cutting edge technologies to create immense value for the benefit of the masses, Sridhar was recognized by his Alma Mater with “One among the Best Alumni” award in 2008 by Dr. Abdul Kalam, the former president of India. Sridhar has been part of many pioneering startups involving innovative tech solutions - Online Anywhere provided the solution to feature web pages on a mobile device in 1997 - the company was acquired by Yahoo! in 1999. Blue Vector Systems provided scalable solutions using sensor-based automation systems. CloodOn Inc. was started by him in 2009 - a pioneer in the e-learning and edtech space. He then partnered with Shankar Mahadevan to launch the Shankar Mahadevan Academy, the first online music platform to teach Indian Classical Music and other forms of music worldwide.
He started his career at Xerox Corporation (Versatec) as a software engineer (1990-1995). Pure Software that eventually merged with Rational Software (1995-1997). Senior Vice President of Blue Vector Systems based out of California.
He holds an MBA from University of California- Berkeley's Haas School of Business, an MS in Computer Science from Villanova University, Pennsylvania and BE in Computer Engineering from Bombay University.

Nitin S. Komawar, Director, CoFounder & CEO

Nitin S. Komawar has more than 25 years of global experience in the technology industry. He has co-founded and managed multiple innovative technology companies in Silicon Valley, USA & India. An entrepreneur who is passionate about bringing new innovations to the market.
He launched one of the first commercial Java products in the world for Data Analytics in 1999 which was successfully acquired, built an innovative B2B hosted platform for transactions processing in 2002 which was acquired by BEA(Oracle). Launched one of the first IoT companies in 2007 which was successfully acquired.
As an investor and mentor, he has incubated 6 tech companies in the area of Real Estate Analytics, IoT, Digital Art, Education, Music, Data Science & AI in India & USA.
He has raised equity capital from Venture funds & PE funds, been a Keynote speaker at various industry events and conferences, started career with leading tech companies in Silicon Valley & also worked at research organisations (BARC & TIFR)
He holds MS in Computer Engineering from SJSU, California, USA & BE Computer Engineering from Bombay University.

Anagha N Komawar, CoFounder and Vice President - Director of Training & Development

Anagha has 15 years of global experience working with the education world, working with schools in the USA and India. She has been actively involved in launching different educational and social programs to support public schools. She has co-founded technology companies in the area of Data Analytics and education. Anagha holds a BS in Computer Science & Math, SJSU University, California, Bsc Mathematics from Bombay University and PG Diploma in marketing and communications from Bombay University.

Shekhar Pradhan, Co-Founder and Director - Business Operations

Shekhar comes from a Supply Chain background, bringing over 25 years of experience working for global market-leading companies in various industry verticals in Australia and US. His essential expertise has been in customers’ digital transformation journey of Transport & Logistics services. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in Process Optimization, Product Consulting and Technology Services. A combination of good Business Process understanding and Operations enables him to successfully manage Application Platforms to deliver well-rounded solutions. He holds BS Physics from Bombay University and Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications & Information Systems.

Dr. N. L. Sarda, Academic Advisor

Dr. Sarda, former Professor Computer Science at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, is well known for his research and teaching in the fields of Database Management Systems, Spatio-temporal databases, and Software Engineering. He did his post-graduation and doctoral studies in Computer Science at IIT Bombay. Dr. Sarda held important responsibilities in IIT Bombay including Head of Computer Science Department, Dean of Academic Programmes, Professor-In-Charge of Innovation & Entrepreneurship, and Head of Shailesh J. Mehta Institute of Management. He was also Associate Professor, Division of Mathematics, Engineering and Computer Science at University of New Brunswick, Canada.
